Morning Bike Ride to Osanbashi Pier (Yokohama)

Got up early this morning to ride my bike down to Osanbashi Pier to catch the sunrise.  Hot and humid morning, but the clouds were interesting today.

Sunrise behind Yokohama Bay Bridge.

Probably a tug/boat pilot going out to escort ships.

Here is the grassy area on top of Osanbashi Pier. If you are ever in Yokohama, you have to visit this pier, the design of it really is a work of art.

You see lots of joggers on the pier. Great place to get a panoramic view of Yokohama.

Random picture of a building window with the reflection of the water.

Old Yokohama customs building.

Couple working boats in the marina.

Blue Yokohama

Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in the morning sun.

Open park area between Yamashita Park and the Red Brick Warehouses.

Looks like they are going to have a triathlon in Yokohama this weekend. The finish line in Yamashita Park.

Random picture.

Cats having thier morning meeting.

About runninginspired

I’m in my mid-40s and have been running for about 19 years. I have finished 24 marathons with a personal best time of 3:04. I currently reside in San Diego, CA. I enjoy running since it keeps you honest and will give back what you put into it. Work hard, but smart, and good results will eventually follow. I like to experiment with training plans, gadgets, shoes, and nutrition to find what works for me. The primary purpose of this blog is to document my training and thoughts about running in my ongoing quest to improve my fitness and health.
